Rocim Mariana Red Wine 2022

Það er ekki algengt að vín  á þessu verði fá 4 stjörnur á Vivino en þetta á það svo sannarlega skilið. Hreint út sagt er þetta ótrúlega gott rauðvín sem við mælum með að keypt sé í kassavís !


CLIMATE :
Typically mediterranean and set in the sub-region of Vidigueira, where the climatic conditions are the most temperate of Alentejo and provide an excellent microclimate for the production of quality wines.
SOIL:
Poor land, predominantly of granite and schist. Great pedological potential for the cultivation of vines and for obtaining excellent wines.
VARIETIES:
Touriga Nacional, Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet and Trincadeira The varieties Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet and Trincadeira are trellised in a vertical shoot position and the Touriga Nacional in LYS, a multi-spaced system allowing for greater canopy sun exposure. The rows have an east/west orientation with the grape varieties at different exposures: Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet and Trincadeira (west) and Touriga Nacional (east). 

VINIFICATION :
 Manual harvest in 12 kg boxes. At the winery, the grapes were once again sensible triaged on a vibrating sorting table, fully destemmed and lightly crushed. After a period of cold skin maceration, the fermentation took place in small stainless tanks at a temperature of 24ºC. AGING › Six months in french oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES:
 Deep ruby colour. An exuberant aroma of red berries. Round tannins and full mouthed.
